This is the first single following Peeling Grey's debut album from 2011. "Broken Glass" is the next chapter for the group. It signals the transition from their initial sounds to experimenting with a wider pallet of influences while still keeping the Peeling Grey aesthetic intact. The single includes a remix of "Sleeping In Dirty Hands", available on their debut. The "Truth Remix" was done by drummer and producer James Hazley, who also wrote the music for "Broken Glass".

Bonus tracks are available on the "Limited 300 Edition" on CD only. Supplies are limited.

"She kicks and screams inside the car
Fetal crouch, eyes running black
No longer with the stars
Novas burst inside this womb

Then her heels start to crack
Stars appear on broken glass
Neurosis paints the night upon
Futile salt's mournful wounds

Her heart dangles above the cracks
of shattered glass and broken dreams
Her wrists balance above the cracks
of insecure vanity
Then her soles start to scream
Cracks appear on broken glass
Female tears rest on lips
trembling in self deceit

She's lost control, she can't hold on
And I can't hold on anymore
It's the sound of broken glass
Shattering through everything
I'd ever known"
